A good way to be social and indulge yourself is to invite a few friends over for a round of Monsteiner beer. And with our new online shop up and running, it’s never been easier to try the speciality beers produced by hand in the Grisons mountain village of Monstein. The newly designed website is intuitive and easy to navigate. Beautiful photos and engaging texts recount the eventful history of Europe’s highest-altitude brewery open to the public. They also reveal the secret of why Monsteiner beer has a full flavour like no other. It’s all in the art of brewing and the ingredients: crystal-clear spring water, Swiss hops and organic barley malt grown in the mountains. Our various speciality beers are all there: classic lager, amber beer, wheat beer and dark lager, along with seasonal beers currently produced by the brewery.

Visit our online shop to order various speciality beers directly from the brewery and have them sent to your home address. You can also pay us a visit if you’d like. Our brewery in the village of Monstein is open to visitors. We also arrange tours.

Banish the January blues by taking part in a brewing seminar, during which you’ll experience at close quarters how Monsteiner beer is produced. There’ll also be plenty to eat and drink throughout the day: we start with coffee and croissants followed by a snack later in the morning, and finish with a hearty platter of brewer’s bites with beers (served at our discretion) for lunch.
