Monsteiner launches a new website with an online shop

Refreshed – Monsteiner brewery goes all out with a new website and an online shop. More than 20 years after it was founded, the award-winning beer from the Walser village of Monstein has been relaunched to acquire new fans far and wide.

The attractively designed website is intuitive and easy to navigate. Beautiful photos and engaging texts recount the eventful history of the most beautiful brewery open to the public in Europe. They also reveal the secret of why Monsteiner beer has a full flavour like no other. It’s all in the art of brewing and the ingredients: crystal-clear spring water, Swiss hops and organic barley malt grown in the mountains. The website also presents the brewery’s various speciality beers: classic lager, amber beer, wheat beer and dark lager, along with seasonal beers currently produced by the brewery.

In the online shop, visitors can order various speciality beers directly from the brewery and have them sent to their home address. In other words, this beer from the Grison Alps is now available all over Switzerland at the click of a mouse button. The brand’s visual identity is now more modern, too, thanks to the new logo. The labels for each beer have also undergone a makeover, with eye-catching illustrations created by Grisons native Lorena Paterlini.

Another new feature allows customers to design their very own beer bottle label – ideal for garden parties, birthdays and weddings. It’s easy to do online: the customer orders an InDesign template of the label and designs it based on their preferences. They then upload the template via the contact form, and in five weeks they receive their own personal Monsteiner beer.

The speciality beers made in the Walser village of Monstein are produced according to the strictest quality controls using local ingredients. Located in the heart of the village, the brewery is open to visitors and guided tours. Other activities are also available, including a brewer’s aperitif or a trip in a vintage bus with a tour of the brewery and a tasting session. You are more than welcome to come and visit!
