The Silberberg treasure

You’ll travel by Rhaetian Railway to Monstein train station and arrive at 9.45 am (or at an agreed time). From there, you’ll be picked up by your mining guides. You’ll then receive a guided tour of the Silberberg mining museum and the former mining works and come away with a strong impression of how mining folk lived back at the beginning of the 19th century. Of course, no visit would be complete without a proper mining lunch. Your action-packed day will end in the idyllic Walser village of Monstein, where you’ll enjoy a tour of the brewery and find out the ABCs of beer. To replenish your energy, we’ll be serving a brewer’s platter of speciality foods made with brewer’s grains and Monsteiner beers (at our discretion).
